For me, this is the busiest season. Football season has begun, classes are in session, and I have a packed schedule of volunteer work in the classroom, practices during the week, and games on the weekends. We must somehow fit in time for eating (and cooking) despite our busy schedule!Ravioli Baked
It only takes around 30 minutes to prepare, making it one of my favorite meals. With a little preparation beforehand, perhaps even less!Ravioli Baked
Sincerely, this is among our most cherished family dinners to date. One of my favorite foods has always been ravioli, thus it’s really fulfilling that this is served as a layered casserole. Ravioli Baked
This will take even less time if you brown your meat in advance (or simply make the whole meaty sauce in advance) and shred your cheese beforehand. I use my favorite canned sauce for the marinara, but you can alternatively make your own and prepare it in advance. About two cups of sauce, ground turkey, cream cheese, fresh or frozen ravioli, and freshly grated cheese are required. Prepare the ravioli first, following the directions on the package, then prepare the ground beef at the same time.

While the noodles are cooking, prepare the ground beef and begin making the ravioli as directed on the package.
Add the extra seasonings after stirring the sauce into the browned meat.
The addition of cream cheese now gives the sauce a dreamy, creamy texture. It’s really that wonderful! That’s why I love to have cream cheese on hand.
When the sauce is finished, begin to layer the casserole dish. Before adding the ravioli in a single layer, add a spoonful or two of sauce.
Add the completed, beefy, creamy marinara sauce on top.
Then add cheese on top. Continue by adding another layer of ravioli, followed by sauce and cheese.

Bake for 22 minutes, uncovered, at 350 degrees. Take it out of the oven and immediately sprinkle it with chopped basil, then let it cool for ten to fifteen minutes.
With two to three ravioli per person, this lunch feeds roughly eight people.
Serve with my Cheesy Garlic Bread or my Three Cheese Garlic-Herb Drop Biscuits for an extra cheesy supper. Try it with my Garlic Parmesan Asparagus or Broccoli and Bell Pepper Sauté for some extra vegetables.
