Chicken Parmigiana
For two people, this chicken parmigiana makes a delicious dinner. Serve it with tossed greens and your preferred pasta.Chicken Parmigiana
Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 ounces dry bread crumbs
- 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- ¾ (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

Assemble the components. Turn the oven on to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Grease a medium baking sheet very lightly.Chicken Parmigiana

Fill a small shallow bowl with the egg. Put the bread crumbs in a shallow basin of its own. Coat the chicken in bread crumbs after dipping it in egg. After the baking sheet is ready, put the coated chicken on it.

Bake in a preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until the juices flow clear and the food is no longer pink. Take it out of the oven.

Half of the spaghetti sauce should be poured into a 7 × 11-inch baking dish. Cover with the remaining sauce after placing the chicken breasts on top. Top with Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses.

Bake it for another 20 minutes or more, or until it is thoroughly cooked and the cheeses have melted.
